These definitely feel durable. My elderly grandmother uses them when she's getting in and out of my SUV and she said it is such a help. I also like that it has a seat belt cutter and you could probably use this to break a window in a pinch. No issues with fit, it just slips in that little hook of the door jam and you can put your full weight on it. Works wonderfully.

My husband is thrilled to have this- simply insert in the car door latch and gives him something to grip to help him into or out of car.
